1st STAGE MC9

1st stage withΒ overcompensated membraneΒ extremely modern but, at the same time, easy to maintain and very robust and reliable.

The thickness of the body walls has been optimized to minimize its weight (380 g). A semi-flexible elastomer sheath protects the 1st stage from impacts and abrasions.

HP seat in AISI316 stainless steel . Apart from the possibility of replacement in case of deterioration during maintenance, the composition of the seat, much harder than the traditional brass of fixed seats, prolongs its useful life as it better resists the deforming action of metal particles that may be introduced from the bottle.

High mechanical resistance polyurethane valve,Β to oils and hyperoxic mixtures.

The hypercompensation of the mechanism ensures a slight increase in the intermediate pressure as the cylinder pressure decreases. The regulator therefore supplies itsΒ maximum level of performance in the final phase of the dive , undoubtedly the most critical.

An advanced study of internal air circulation and an exclusive distribution chamber that channels the air volume directly to the LP outlets have allowed for minimal pressure drop during forced breathing (0.5 bar), ensuring high-performance use in any situation.

SC (Sealed Chamber) insulation and anti-freeze kitΒ optional that completely isolates the membrane and spring from contact with water, making it ideal for operating in extremely low temperature conditions and with very dirty water.

Particularly effective filter with hat shape inserted without the need for a circlip.

2 HP and 4 LP outputs

Supplied in INT (stirrup) and DIN 300 bar versions. The thread of the DIN version is made of stainless steel instead of brass to ensure greater resistance in the event of falls or impacts.

Technical specifications:

- High Pressure (HP) outlets 2 - 7/16” Low Pressure (LP) outlets 4 - 3/8”.

2nd STAGE XS COMPACT

New ultra-simplified second stage monocoque in ABS + elastomer, very small in sizeΒ (6 cm in diameter) , very light ( 145 g ) with a mechanism and construction designed to obtain the minimum number of components and great robustness. It is a smart purchase option due to its combination of performance-reliability-price-maintenance cost, ideal for uses that require maximum reliability and also as a travel regulator given its lightness combined with the 1st stage MC5, for diving centres or as a work regulator with the AC2 and as a high-end set with the MC9.

The specific calibration of the inhalation mechanism slightly changes the personality of the air delivery compared to the Ellipse series, to reward, above the exquisite touch and sensitivity of these models, aΒ abundant flow without the need to exploit the Venturi effect.Β This feature gives it a low tendency to continuous flow on the surface or when the equipment is placed in the water, ideal for schools and rentals, octopus and double regulator. The performance results, however, place it above regulators considered to be of a higher range.

Asymmetrical front cover perforation.Β The water flow begins to push the membrane counter-clockwise so that its retraction occurs perfectly flat and the cam descends progressively and in perfect perpendicularity, regardless of the conditions (current, sudden movements, any position of the face, etc.).

Particularly reduced exhalation effortΒ without the need to reduce the thickness of the membrane. The design of the membrane retention system directs the flow 100% towards the nozzles of the mustache, benefiting from a powerful Venturi effect that also helps direct the bubbles away from the diver's field of vision. Embedded membrane to prevent water leaks in the event of sudden turns or when jumping from the boat into the water.

Purge button, practically integral,Β 80-400% larger than any other regulator on the market to make purging easier, especially for inexperienced divers.

Lid assembly systemΒ By means of a 30ΒΊ bayonet turn, it ensures very simple and safe assembly and disassembly, even for sand cleaning tasks on the beach and without the need for tools.

Aging due to use,Β It is reduced thanks to the finish of the casing, the result of applying a new technology to the mould that achieves a nuanced appearance based on a microtexture of rounded profiles.
