Following the successful Leonardo, Guiotto, Newton, Drake, Goa and Cartesino, NEON is the seventh project designed, developed and produced in Italy 100% by its subsidiary Cressi Elettronica. It is a clock-shaped computer with a completely modular construction, extremely robust and reliable. Cressi has full quality control of this product as it is entirely developed and manufactured by Cressi Elettronica, both with regard to the programming of the software and its construction and manufacturing, quality control and after-sales service.
It is an elegant and versatile proposition. Under its sporty and attractive watch appearance, it hides a complete diving and freediving computer that stands out for its versatility. Ideal for the advanced diver or for technical diving and for freediving or snorkelling, but surprisingly simple for the average diver due to its clear and simple information supply with just two push buttons.
CONSTRUCTION
- Case made of impact-resistant technopolymers. This composition allows for great lightness, resistance to shocks and aesthetic ageing. The computer case is extremely flat, with a very hydrodynamic section without edges and its dimensions are relatively contained, with a model view of the digits.
- Extra-flat profile (maximum height 14 mm) with a completely rounded design, very hydrodynamic and prevents possible snagging. Even the strap anchor follows the profile of the case.
- Two low-profile pushers, highly integrated and with minimised clearances, ensure the tightness of the O-rings by working perfectly perpendicularly and preventing the entry of particles or small grains of sand that could block them.
- Case diameter of only 48 mm.
- UFDS wide screenΒ (User Friendly Display System) with a diameter of 38 mm vs. a total of 48 mm for the case. The distribution of information, screen contrast, proportions and size of the digits have been studied to facilitate reading. All data is presented segmented with light separation lines that facilitate reading even in stressful or emergency situations.
- New high-performance, low-consumption processor. Allows for much faster data processing, greater backlight power and alarm sound, and doubles battery life compared to previous models. ARM Cortex M3 32-bit CPU | 14 MHz frequency | 256 Kb Flash memory | 32 Kb RAM.
- Backlit displayΒ high intensity by push button or in case of alarm (5 seconds per push).
- High-resistance mineral glass screen.
- Guaranteed resistance up to 120 m depth.
- Optional interface via Bluetooth.
- Thermoplastic rubber strap with stainless steel buckle.
