Characteristics:
First stage MK25 EVO
- The air-balanced continuous flow piston in a chrome-plated brass body provides a constant, effortless airflow that is not affected by depth, tank pressure or breathing rate.
- The patented XTIS (Extended Thermal Insulation System) thermally isolates the internal mechanism from the environment, improving cold water resistance by 30% and delaying ice formation in extreme cold water conditions without compromising breathing performance. Key components of the insulation system are visible in blue.
- The spring insulating liner, insulating body bushing, anti-freeze cap, larger body and cap thread work together with the XTIS to improve cold water performance.
- Anti-freeze protection radically increases breathing reliability when diving in the most extreme water temperatures.
- Two opposing high pressure ports allow the first stage to be positioned up or down.
- Four high flow ports and one super high flow, low pressure axial port on a rotating turret maximize hose routing options.
- External intermediate pressure adjustment allows technicians to quickly and easily fine-tune performance.
- Available in 232bar INT or 300bar DIN configurations.
- The DIN version comes with a dual compound wheel that features an ergo shape and soft grip on a durable black nylon frame.
- Air flow at 200bar: >8500 l/min.
- Intermediate pressure: 9.0-9.8 bar.
Second stage A700
- The balanced air valve smooths the inhalation effort at different depths and delivery pressures.
- The rugged all-metal housing, front cover and valve housing (barrel) can withstand years of aggressive diving.
- The metal construction allows the use of a larger diaphragm within a compact housing, increasing respiratory sensitivity.
- User controls include a diver-adjustable inhalation effort knob and a coaxial flow Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA) lever.
- The superflow hose features an oversized orifice that allows more air to flow with each inhalation.
- The ultra-comfortable orthodontic mouthpiece is easy to grip but does not inhibit airflow.
- Air flow at 200bar: 2000 l/min.
